Recently, Darlene Victoria Gonzalez, owner of True Harmony Media, LLC and veteran podcaster, took a ‘minute’ to to answer the question what makes a podcast- a real podcast. She explains that just become you have audio embedded on your website or blog does not mean you have a podcast.

In order to have a podcast, your audio or video episode series has to be downloadable. It has to have a way for listeners to subscribe via a feed and provide mobility.
