What is advertising? According to Webster’s Dictionary, to advertise is “to draw public attention to.” Advertising should focus or draw attention to your product or service and explain what makes it unique from your competitors. Identify what makes your service perfect for your client’s needs in your advertisements.
Small business owners can use different mediums to advertise their product or service. Newspaper, magazine, radio, or billboard may come to mind when considering traditional ways to get the word out. All of which may be good options for your business but do not limit yourself. I know with the current economy, business owners have to carefully think and re-think where every dollar is going. Do not let “the times” stop you from advertising. Use this frustration as your motivation. Now is the time to find new and innovative ways to do so.
